More performance and efficiency due to newly developed foil reel bins
The foil reel bin of the RF82 and RF90 was designed completely new: the foil brake developed especially for this new application allows adjustment of the foil tension with machine in operation. Therefore, machine stops are mostly redundant. Moreover, foil rolls with a larger diameter than up to now can be used - up to the total width of 880 mm without any restrictions.
Pressure adjustment virtually as quick as a wink through height-adjustable form bed
With many other stamping machines using the cylinder principle, pressure has to be adjusted in a quite complicated way and eventually has to be readjusted. The RF82 and RF90 shift pressure adjustment to the height-adjustable form bed. This means an extreme reduction of set-up times. And also, due to the fact that the packing and the cylinder diameter remain unchanged, there are no changes in print lengths and register.
Higher productivity due to non-tool quick changeover feature of mounting plate
The stamping dies of the RF82 and RF90 are mounted onto a mounting plate, which is fixed precisely in the machine without using any tools. Again, this reduces set-up time and, moreover, is so precise that mostly, readjustment is redundant.

DRUPA DIARY - Day 10-13 (End)
DRUPA 2012 is now over. In the last 3 days is was quite on all booths. It was clearly noted that ca. 20% less visitors were attending this DRUPA. The spm steuer Team would like to thank all visitors who came to our booth.
We are working now on all inquiries and will send out offers and required information as soon as possible.

Visit to customer Majestic, Philippines, 01.12.10
"Better late than never" were the thoughts of sales director, Ralf Wegmann, when visiting customer Majestic on the Philippines, who had received a HD CD 102-6-LX (UV) already in spring of 2010.	Oliver Cheng (ri) and Ralf Wegmann
Both companies are looking forward to further close cooperation.

Another far trip - installation of a second-hand Steuer PZ 90 on the island of Mauritius, 25.11.10
spmsteuer-technicians immediately wanted to continue drawing lots, when this order was received, however, the technician who installed the Steuer PZ 90 in Bangkok was the lucky one to travel on to Mauritius.	Steuer PZ 90 installed at the customer's factory
Also this machine has been in production very successfully for more than two months after installation and instruction through our technician. We are very happy having been able to deliver a machine to this far away, beautiful part of the world and are looking forward to further cooperation.

Installation of a second-hand Steuer PZ 90 in Thailand 25.11.10

The machine was installed in September. After installation, the operators were thoroughly instructed by our technician and, in the meantime, the machine has been in operation successfully for over 2 months.

We were glad to deepen many existing contacts and meet various very interesting prospects.

Heidelberg CD 102-5-LX now installed

Great start for spm steuer into 2010
Christmas holidays of the spm steuer engineers was as short as the winter break in the German Soccer League. They started already on January 4th with the following : Begin of the installation of a CD 102-6-LX at the Philippines Start up of a CD 102-5-LX, year 2005, at a German customer's printing shop Dismanteling and deliveries of 102 ZP, 102 V and 102 FP to customers in Asia, South Africa and India Sales Director Ralf Wegmann signed a sales contract for a Müller-Martini Trendbinder and a Stahl folder with an Egyptian customer on January 12th. Shortly, we do expect another order for a HD SM 102-8-P, which is due to be delivered in February. By the end of January, the team of engineers will be on their way to the neighbouring countries in order to move all together 17 printing units and various postpress machines. After that we send our technicians to dismantle a CD 102LYLX machine in North America. This machine will then be shipped to and installed in a european print shop. After that we will have to overhaul an 8-colour Heidelberg SM 102 and load some containers for shipment to Asia. So fortunately we will be busy the coming weeks. More projects are being prepared so we will be pleased to keep you informed accordingly.

manroland R 906-6 sold to China 22.4.09
We have now sold meanwhile the 3rd manroland 900 machine to an asian customer. This time the R 906-6, which was in production in Germany, was sold to a customer in China.	manroland 906-6, year 2003
During the upcoming CHINA PRINT in Bejing, spm steuer is visiting existing customers and will also exhibit in Hall E1 - Booth No. EU 35 in order to get in touch with some new clients.
